Art in the Bryant Bannister Tree-Ring Building. Established by the pioneer of dendrochronology. AE Douglass, originator of the science of tree-ring dating, founded the Laboratory of Tree-Ring Research in 1937. Housed in a custom facility. A building constructed in 2013 provides lab and office space, augmented by a building recently renovated as a wood sample archive.
